Si informano i visitatori che, a seguito del rinvio del Palio al giorno venerdì 3 luglio, il museo chiuderà alle ore 17.00 (con ultimo ingresso alle ore 16.15).
Museum hours change - July 2, 2026
Visitors are informed that on the occasion of the Palio of July 2 the Santa Maria della Scala will be open from 10:00 to 17:00.
April 25 and May 1: museum hours
Please note that on the occasion of the holidays of April 25 and May 1, the museum will be regularly open from 10.00 to 19.00.
Easter and Easter Monday at the Santa Maria della Scala
For the Easter holidays, the Santa Maria della Scala Museum Complex will be open with hours 10:00–19:00 (last admission and ticket office closing at 18:15) both on Sunday, April 5, Easter Day, and Monday, April 6, Easter Monday.
Open call: use of the S. Ansano Hall for university teaching activities - Academic Year 2026–2027
The Antico Ospedale Santa Maria della Scala Foundation, as part of its activities to promote the cultural valorization of the eponymous museum complex and in collaboration with the university and research system, is issuing a call for expressions of interest aimed at collecting proposals for the use of the S. Ansano Hall

Visitors are advised that from September 18 to October 10 flooring replacement work will begin in some rooms of the museum.
