Santa Maria della Scala participates in the FORMA project – Training for Accessible Museums

Pellegrinaio

The MTA Tuscan Museums System for Alzheimer's, through the lead partner L’immaginario Associazione Culturale, responsible for the procedure, promotes the call ForMA – Training for Accessible Museums – which offers 5 young recent graduates an integrated training and paid internship programme, oriented to cultural welfare and aimed at implementing strategic skills to make museums accessible. The notice is funded with resources from PR FSE + Tuscany 2021/27 and is part of Giovanisì (www.giovanisi.it), the Tuscany Region project for youth autonomy. The activity is part of the Tuscany Region experimental project Young professionals grow in museums, aimed at supporting transitions towards stable and quality employment in cultural heritage and contemporary art, financed with the support of the European Union (European Social Fund).
The 5 non-curricular internships are intended to promote the employability of young people under 30 within the institutional activities of museum systems and to facilitate professional choices through direct knowledge of the world of work as an orienting or professionalising training experience and do not constitute an employment relationship. The project proposes one month of non-formal theoretical training (100 hours) and one year of internship with practical experiential training in the field of cultural welfare (600 + 600 hours) with an average of 25 hours of weekly activity for a compensation of 800 euros gross (350 euros gross for the first month of theoretical training).
